Simulation
Skyharbor Tycoon
★★★★☆ 4.2
Skyharbor Tycoon hands you a scrap of sky and asks you to turn it into a bustling airport. You lay out runways, hire staff, balance passenger moods, and slowly expand. It's the comfort-food kind of sim — numbers going up, systems clicking together.
The interface is dense but well organised, and the designers were smart about tooltips, so I rarely felt lost. Everything is menu-driven taps, which suits mobile fine, though I'd recommend a bigger screen if you want to read every chart comfortably.
It ticks along even when idle, so you can check in, make a few decisions, and close it. Battery use is modest unless you leave it running with the screen on. A genuinely relaxing one for the evenings.
What we liked
- Clear tooltips in a dense interface
- Checks-in-and-out friendly pacing
- Modest battery use for a sim
