About
Pocket Playbook started as a group chat where three friends argued about which games actually deserved space on a phone. We got tired of ratings that felt copied from a spec sheet, so we began writing our own notes and eventually turned them into a small site.,The way we work is simple. Somebody installs a game, plays it properly — not for ten minutes, but across a week of commutes and lazy evenings — and keeps a running log of what clicks and what annoys. Then we talk it over before anything gets published.,We care a lot about the boring stuff: how controls hold up with one thumb, how fast the battery drains, whether the settings menu lets you turn off the things you want off. A beautiful game that cooks your phone gets marked down, same as a clever one with awful touch zones.,Nobody here is paid to like a game. If a title bores us, we say so. The point of the site is to save you a download you'd regret, and to flag the ones worth your evening.
